Manufactures LED and sensor products for banking and office equipment OEMs 1984 - Crown Semiconductor is renamed OPTEK Technology, Inc. 1987 - OPTEK is listed on NASDAQ under symbol OPTX 1988 - OPTEK acquires TRW Optoelectronics Division which creates the world's largest manufacturer of infrared and magnetic sensors. 1989 - OPTEK enters fiber optic market with 850nm LEDs and receivers. 1992 - OPTEK enters automotive market with magnetic sensors. 1999 - OPTEK manufacturers TO-46 VCSEL products for a major data communications OEM. 1999 - Dyson-Kissner-Moran-Corp. purchases OPTEK 2000 - OPTEK develops MT-RJ transceiver technology 2002 - OPTEK introduces OPV200 Series 1.25 Gbps VCSEL product family. 2003 - OPTEK introduces OPV300 Series 2.5 Gbps VCSEL prdouct family. 2003 - OPTEK acquired by TT electronics plc 2005 - OPTEK enters Visible LED markets 2005 - OPTEK expands automotive technology with AutopadTM Contactless Sensor 2005 - OPTEK introduces IRLED Surface Mount Product Line Markets Served
