Optek's ability to internally manufacture several sensor technologies provides maximum flexibility in creating new solutions.  Optek's technologies include:

AutopadTM -- Non-contact precision position sensor that offers performance and flexibility beyond current position sensing methods by providing abolute position as well as 360° angle and linear displacement sensing.

Magnetoresistive -- Critical applications can utilize indium antimonide magnetoresistive sensors with their high accuracy, high repeatability, large amplitude signals and high signal-to-noise ratio. A change in the magnetic flux density changes the measurable resistance.

Magnetologic® -- Magnetoresistive sensor with an integrated logic (high, low) output. The Magnetologic® device not only quickly switches between output states, it has an internal hysterisis to eliminate ossilation.

Hall Switch -- Slotted and back-biased probe sensors with vane, surface or gear targets can provide cost-effective signals for powertrain, throttle and other position and speed applications.

Hallogic® -- Hall-effect sensor with an integrated logic.

Hall-Effect Device -- An integrated sensor that reacts to magnetic flux density.

Optoelectronics -- Optek has extensive products and capabilities in infrared LEDs, sensors, encoders, arrays, hybrids, slotted switches and reflective assemblies.

Fiber Optics -- Both LEDs and receivers can be customized for package, connector and temperature requirements.
